Delivery Phase
The project delivery data should be maintained in the approved CM system, which is essential for satisfying the objectives of DO-254. In some cases, the final delivery data may be extracted from CM and burned to an electronic media format for final delivery to the customer. At this point the project is complete and ready for certification audit (SOI-4), assuming all other phases have been completed.
Hardware Configuration Index (HCI)
The purpose of this document is to provide an index for the different configurations of the Hardware part. This document is a cumulative document that lists, tracks, and references all of the hardware’s revisions. In this Hardware Configuration Index, up-to-date text and pictures will be used to convey ideas for the Hardware Item Life Cycle, Product Description, Development Methods, Design Environment, and Hardware Item Data. This document is tailored to tracking the development of the hardware item for which it was intended.
Hardware Environment Configuration Index (HECI)
The purpose of this document is to provide an index for the Hardware part’s Development Environment .The HECI may include information about the development environments of the requirements phase, the design phase, and the implementation phase. This document is intended to be a cumulative document to list, track, and reference the hardware environments and their version numbers.
Hardware Accomplishment Summary (HAS)
The primary purpose of this Hardware Accomplishment Summary is to show compliance to the plans and processes set forth in the PHAC for the hardware item. The HAS demonstrates to the Certification Authority that the objectives set forth in the planning documents have been achieved for the hardware item. The HAS sums up the entire life cycle process and proves that by following the planned the objectives of DO-254 were met. If plans were deviated in any way this must be recorded and justified in the HAS.
