CERTON announces today that their internally developed tool, CertSAFE™, has been recognized by the judges of the annual Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Awards program.
Melbourne, FL November 15, 2016 – As determined by a panel of third-party expert judges, CertSAFE has been awarded the GOLD Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Award. This award recognizes innovative products/systems/technology that solve real-world problems, increase productivity, and meet an immediate need in the military and aerospace electronics systems market. The judging panel consisted of experienced component designers, software engineers, system specifiers, integrators, and managers with vast professional engineering capabilities. CertSAFE scored impressively high in team collaboration, including unambiguous communication and cooperation from all users throughout the product development lifecycle.
CertSAFE™ is a unique model based development and verification (MBDV) tool that effectively bridges the vast gap between many systems and software teams. The tool allows for rapid prototyping with validated requirements to ensure the correct systems are being built before the need to have hardware and target software. Timothy Stockton, President and CEO at CERTON stated, “Early detection of errors in every level of the requirements, code, and integration is one of the biggest cost saving objectives in safety-critical engineering. CertSAFE™ provides this advantage in combination with interactive debugging and export of simulation test vectors for fully automated verification testing against the target hardware in the lab with CertBENCH™”.
